The OIB Telex Transfer is best suited for urgent payments or settlements of business transactions as the payment reaches the beneficiary after two working days from the date of transaction.

You may remit funds to a named beneficiary in a designated currency by automated transfer. The funds are usually payable to the bank account of the beneficiary. However limited over the counter payment against personnel identification is possible subject to local regulations in the recipient's country.

Same day payment is also possible under prior arrangement with the bank subject to the various time zones around the world and the related cut off times for processing with the exception of payments favoring beneficiaries in where where India where the settlement time can be between one to ten days depending on the geographical location of the beneficiary's bank.

OIB have convenient drawing arrangements with over 70 banks worldwide, with the cost of the transfer being OMR 6/- (Special UAE rate of OMR 3.500)
